Laka Lodge is well equipped to keep you moving when you decide to get active. Right on the beach we have installed for you a professional volleyball field. This is available for your anytime throughout the day and if you have the courage the Laka Lodge team can set up with the local amateur volleyball team. Can you help us to finally beat them?

When the weather is good you are free to take one of our kayaks or canoes out on the ocean. The mangroves are just couple of minutes of paddling away and very safe to reach. Heading to the other direction you will have an amazing view of the village of Nioumachoua with children greeting you from the shores. We will ask you to wear the life vest for all your ventures to the ocean. Always seek advice from our staff whether it is safe enough for kayaking as the sea may be treacherous at times without you even noticing it. One of our staff can also accompany you to guarantee safety.
The list of activities goes even futher than this. it goes For fishing enthusiasts Moheli offers great opportunities for high sea fishing. We will offer this opportunity in the near future with a fully secured boat. The open sea waters around Moheli areteeming with with Tuna, Sea Bream (Dorade), Merlin, Barracuda, bonito and many more. If you really want to have an unforgettable fishing experience, the traditional fishing with the local fisher men in their laka, the Comorian pirogue with a balancing beam, is a must.
